The system allows you to equip valves with self-sufficient Valve Devices, which record the analog rotation angle of the manual operated- or automated-valves.
You do not need an electric or signaling cable.
The wireless working module operates with a battery, which has a durability of at least five years due to its ideal energy management.
How does the ELTAV-System work?
- The ELTAV-System works wireless, based on the secure radio network standard ZigBee.
- The system consists of Valve Devices (= VD), Router and a central data transmission station to the control system or the control via PC. This way you establish a network infrastructure, similar to the W-LAN infrastructure of computers.
- The VD can be installed up to 100 m away from the Router, but they – like every other wireless network – need to have a “free sight” to the Router. Every VD has a definite own ID.
- VD and Router communicate in specific time intervals and through every change in state with each other and thus a correct operation of the network can be guaranteed at all times.
- The bonding of the Router into the company’s data network is carried out through well-established standards like TCP/IP.
What does the ELTAV-System accomplish?
- Confirmation of the end position of the armature setting “Open – Closed”, including on-site signaling through LED signals.
- Analogue position signal for the whole range of the rotation angle.
- Detection of opening- and closing-times of automated valves. Comparison of reference values, which get recorded at the time of initiation. As a result, it is possible to capture modifications at the valve or actuator in time: preventative maintenance made easy!
- Data packet in a regular, pre-defined time interval. Not only pre-set values, but also time, temperature, state of battery and many more configurable data get transferred.
- Wireless monitoring makes on-site configuration possible using the operator device. The setup can be locked. Modification is only possible if you enter the code. Every modification is automatically memorized in a log file, which cannot be changed afterwards.
- Extensive, intuitively operated evaluation software offers the ideal use of all benefits.
